System Log
View TD-W9980 System Logs.
It is recommended that you set System Time before viewing these - See Time Settings below.
Time Settings
Set System Time on the TD-W9980.
You may need to set NTP Time Servers, so that the router can get the correct time automatically when it is connected to the Internet.
I have used the following Time Servers:-
- 130.88.203.12 (ntp2d.mcc.ac.uk) University of Manchester
- 194.164.127.6 (ntp2.sandvika.net) Telehouse, London.
Manage Control
Here you can
- Change the account password
- Change Port Management for HTTP/FTP etc
- Enable ICMP Ping to make the TD-W9980 pingable from the WAN. Simply tick the remote checkbox.
CWMP Settings
CWMP settings configure the TR-069 protocol. Some ISPs use this to diagnose your line and auto update software.
SNMP Settings
Change SNMP Settings - (Simple Network Management Protocol). Most users can leave this disabled.
Backup & Restore
The Backup & Restore page allows you to:-
- Save Backup configuration settings to a text file on your PC.
- Restore configuration settings by using a configuration file.
Factory Defaults
Restores the TD-W9980 to factory default settings.
Firmware Upgrade
Use this page to Update TP-Link TD-W9980 firmware.
Reboot
Reboot the TP-Link TD-W9980
